BACKGROUND

Hi, I’m Kimberly the brains behind MarketImpress and hopefully the solution to your marketing woes.

In 2015 my life took a bit of a turn, after working for 10 years at a Global Firm I got the dreaded pink slip, well me, my entire Marketing Team and many others.

After the shock wore off, it was time to reassess my career path and discern next steps. Evaluation after evaluation kept leading me back to what made me tick (so to speak of course), MARKETING!!! I love the art of marketing, how it is ever changing with technology, the needs of your customers and how great marketing makes your company clearly shine above the rest.

Why do I love it so much? If there was such a thing as equal parts of right brain and left brain thinking, that would describe my way of thinking. But since that’s highly debatable (the concept, that is), I’ll explain why my talents make me an amazing Marketing Strategist.

The first part of my career was spent in the Financial Institution world and during this time I put aside my love of creativity and delved headfirst into this wonderful world of numbers and even majored in Accounting. As much as I loved numbers and quickly rose up the ladder in one of the most well known banks, this just didn’t complete me, something was missing.

The next part of of my career was spent as a Graphic Designer at a prestigious women’s fashion company. Unfortunately, after almost half a decade there they decided to outsource the Art Department. Time for re-evaluation set in and quickly after that a role came up that I couldn’t pass up. A chance to be on the other end of the Design world and become a Marketer that still dabbled creatively but that had more control over the processes and decisions.

The last decision was well over a decade ago and I’ve relished in getting to use my analytical and creative side for my clients to create beautiful content that is tailored to their target audience, identifying the right marketing platforms to use and ensuring these remain the right channels for their business. The world of marketing is every changing, but well thought out content, market research, continual testing and analysis, professional and visually appealing design and embracing technology platforms can help your company thrive in this ever changing landscape.
